LEARNING OUTCOMES     SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES	2.2 Process information by: a. skimming and scanning for specific information and ideas; b. extracting main ideas and details;   By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:- Read and understand the letter. Answer the questions given using information from the letter.
ACTIVITIES	Teacher asks students to explain or guess the meaning of the word "complaint". Students read the letter and look up the dictionary for the meanings. Teacher asks questions (True or False Statements) to students orally. Written exercise. Students are given comprehension questions. Class discussion. Going through the answers of the exercise.

LEARNING OUTCOMES         SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES	3.0 Language For Aesthetic Use by 3.1 Listen to , read and respond to literary works a. understanding and telling in one's own words the story and poem heard and read, and giving one's own opinion of the text; iv. Narrating sequence of events.   By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:- Rearrange the events into the correct sequence. Answer the questions based on the extract given.
ACTIVITIES	Teacher asks few questions pertaining to the story. Students talk about the people in the story and the events in the story. Teacher gives out handouts to students. Students attempt the task given. Class discussion.

THEME TOPIC	Grammar Adjectives + Prepositions Combinations
LEARNING OUTCOMES     SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES	2.3 Present information to different audiences by: e. expanding notes and outlines iii. Responding to questions and comments spontaneously (oral).   By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:- Write a paragraph about the rainforests of Malaysia containing at least 5 adjectives + preposition combinations.
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes few sentences on the board. Teacher asks students to identify the phrasal verbs in the sentences. Students are asked to attempt the exercise in the textbook. (page 145) Class discussion.
