  • Read and understand the rules to use reported speech.
  • Use their own words to explain what the speaker has said.

Activities 

  1. Teacher says something to a student. The student tells the class what the teacher has said.
  2. Pairing up students to do the same activity. Student B tell the class what Student A has said to him/her.
  3. Students complete the exercise in the textbook.
  4. Class discussion.
