Specific Objectives	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:- 1.      Understand the elements of novel. 2.         Identify the events in each chapter.
Activities	Teacher introduces the elements of novel to students. Showing the cover of the book to elicit responses from students. Students are given the chapter summaries. Class discussion.

Reflection	Students were able to give their predictions towards the illustration of the book cover. They could relate the white rose and blood stain imply death in the story. They also were able to tell the events happened in each chapter.
